CDN77 is a Czech technology company powering the world’s most popular websites and apps, such as Udemy, Factorio, live sports TVs, or social media platforms (some we can't name but pretty sure you're using them every day). We deliver 5 % of global internet traffic through our servers and CDN infrastructure in 150 cities worldwide, making us the sixth largest CDN provider.
95 % of our clients are based abroad, mainly in the US and Western Europe. They're highly technical people and engineers, so we're looking for someone who can write engaging and high-value technical content and blog posts for this audience.
You are:
- a tech expert and enthusiast
- great at writing technical blog posts on topics around our products, such as network, CDN, streaming, Linux administration, DevOps, Ansible, Kubernetes etc. – with proven experience
- a native English speaker (or at least C1 level in English)
- independent, proactive, diligent and result-oriented
It'd be nice if you also:
- have deeper developer/devops/SRE experience
- love researching interesting topics, trends, and news in the industry
- want to create technical content for other channels too (social media, newsletters, websites, etc.)
- can go to our Prague "office" (we're based in 3 villas in Vinohrady)
Examples of content that we like:
- Empowering Control with Edge Computing (CDN77 blog)
- Configure BGP easily with BIRD and Ansible (DataPacket blog)
- How do lava lamps help with Internet encryption? (Cloudflare blog – a mix of geeky and fun content)
What do we offer?
- flexible working hours
- 0 corporate bullshit
- teams of smart people you can learn a lot from (and grab a beer with)
- free breakfasts, lunches, snacks, drinks, and real coffee (anything you can think of, you'll probably find in one of our fridges)
- equipment according to your needs (notebook, monitors, earphones etc.)
- ergonomic chairs Spinalis & standing desks (your back will thank you)
- in-house barber/hairdresser
- and a few other perks you didn't know you needed but won't be able to live without once experienced
Interested? Let us know why you'd like to join CDN77 and share a few examples of the technical content you've written before.
